Captain America Dead at 66

CAPTAIN AMERICA IS DEAD. It’s a powerful headline, even for those who have never picked up a Marvel comic book and don’t know “The Sentinel of Liberty” from “The Scarlet Swashbuckler.” Fans and novices alike have been struck by the poignancy of the image on the pages of the comic book, released Wednesday: a patriotic do-gooder with a bullet piercing his burly, red-white-and-blue torso.

So, another comic hero dies. Wonder when they'll resurrect him. I mean, they killed off Superman then brought him back.

Not to sound offensive, insensitive or anything but I do hope they just leave him dead.

PC Games Delivered to the Philippines

This service is real cool.

I know, i know... I sold out to the system.

But wait... I didn't.

You know how hard it is to get decent ORIGINAL PC and Console games here in the Philippines? Very hard. And very expensive. For one thing, Play-Asia is offering World of Warcraft at only PhP 1217 with free delivery here in the Philippines. A computer store here sells it at over P3000! That's why I like this service. Fast, cheap, and dependable. Plus it's a real come on when they offer free deliveries to the Philippines on some products. They also have Worlod of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade for only PhP 2196.

So, getting those PC and console games faster and cheaper than any other retailer store here in the Philippines is so worth it that I don't think that I sold out.

I prefer to think that I just bought in to the system....

What's New?

Personal Post.. just skip if this isn't your thing.

Yup. I'm the Sales and Operations Director of an itsy bitsy company. This is our lead product. It's available in Mercury Drug, Watson's, and Seven Eleven. Do try it out. Or just help out by asking if it's available at those stores listed above. If you drink and hate those hangovers, this will help. You still get that alcohol buzz without the next day fuzz. hehehe. Click the link or image for info on Chaser: Freedom from Hangovers.

Now after that real blatant plug...

I'm doing the radio thing again, and up to now, people think that what i do there is something i do for money. Bzzzzt.. wrong. Hehehe... I don't get paid nor do I charge for anything. It's free. Basically I do it to relieve stress and have fun.

If you guys dropped by to post questions.. just email me at breakfastdude at gmail. that's gmail.com. .hehehe... I'll try and answer your questions from there.

How will this affect Call Centers in the Philippines?

Some of Silicon Valley's largest technology companies, in an effort to cut costs and address a mounting stack of customer-service complaints, are embracing an offshoring trend known as ``nearshoring.''

Unlike the traditional offshoring that flung U.S. customer call centers halfway around the world to India and other faraway countries, nearshoring sends white-collar jobs to Costa Rica, Mexico and other countries in the Western Hemisphere.

The allure of nearshore sites is their ample supply of knowledgeable, low-paid workers who speak the customers' language fluently, understand their cultural nuances and perhaps even live in the same time zones. For big U.S. tech companies, shifting jobs to closer locations can avoid the operational bumps that would otherwise occur in the more distant, more popular offshoring destinations in Asia.

I don't think there'll be an immediate effect on Philippine Call Centers. Maybe a year or two down the road but not now.

But the Philippine government should look into long term solutions and actions with with regards to call centers. I mean, it won't be sunny and rosy everyday in the Philippine call center industry. Every third person i know seems to be a Philippine call center agent.
