Cambodian troops Quarantine Quan'su

"There has been a small outbreak of “zombism” in a small town near the border of Laos in North-Eastern Cambodia...After death, this virus is able to restart the heart of it’s victim for up to two hours after the initial demise of the person where the individual behaves in extremely violent ways from what is believe to be a combination of brain damage and a chemical released into blood during 'resurrection.'..."

Zombies in Cambodia... They should check out the Philippine Government.

Green Day vs Oasis with a sprinkling of Aerosmith

Boulevard of Broken Songs. It's so cool, I need to wear a leather jacket with matching shades when listening to it.

This song has been making the rounds. It's a mashup of Boulevard of Broken Dreams and Wonderwall. And boy! what real good mashup!

Actually in the Philippines, this is called a mix. It's been fairly common in the late 80s.

From South to North

Now, I'm off to Subic with the kids. I'm not sure but I think this one's an overnighter.

I'll be back Sunday night. I think....

Dang! I forgot to charge my iPod!

Back to Bach

After a three day vacation in Boracay, I'm back. And listening to Lara St. John's Bach: The Concerto Album. Lara is one hell of a beauty and a real mean violinist. People are fussing on her first album where she's naked on the cover but hey, that's marketing. And I don't really mind... Well, I do in a way since I can't find that album.

I really am into Bach. My favorite is the Brandenburg Concerto. That's my all time chill out on a lazy Sunday afternoon kind of music. Too bad someone borrowed that cd of mine and never returned it. It was one of a kind and I couldn't find that particular one anymore. And what's worse is I forgot the title. All I could remember is that it's the Toyata Classics version.

Where was I? Oh yeah.. Lara.... I'm telling you, after a real tiring trip just lie down and pump up this baby (no pun intended, well, just a teaspoon then...) and you're in a place in heaven reserved for pacifists. Whoa! I think I just saw Ghandi in dreadlocks.

The only thing that can top this is if World of Warcraft Philippines come's a knockin... Posted by Hello

Sand gets everywhere... and is abrasive...

Well, I'll be off to Boracay. I'll be there 'til Tuesday. Company Outing.

That means that you three regular readers will have to wait a couple of days for a new post or something.

This has been the weirdest week in a morbid kind of way. Since last Wednesday, I have had three relatives die! My wife's aunt, my dad's cousin, and my mom's brother. It is so freaky.

I tried not to go to Boracay but it seems it's a compulsory thing. I even got this, "You got to be kidding me that you don't want to go to Boracay for free" look. And I gave my boss that "I have three dead relatives and only have three hundred pesos to bring since you scheduled the trip BEFORE payday" look. His look won.

It'll be my first time to go there. I'm sure hijinks shall ensue.

I'm serious! There's no analogy here.

Now that we said goodbye to the Pope, it's back to our regular scheduled programming...

"‘Michael Jackson was seen kissing Macaulay Culkin while touching his leg, the star’s child abuse trial has been told...."

Pope not embalmed. Only Prepared.

"Departing from tradition, Pope John Paul II was not embalmed, only 'prepared' for viewing by hundreds of thousands of mourners, the Vatican said Tuesday..."

I've been wondering about this since last week.

Think of all the donations that came in...

I was just thinking. I know, i know, that's a hard thing for me to do....

But when the Pope was ailing, millions upon millions all over the world prayed for his health. And we're talking about all kinds of people here; sinners, saints, not so sinners, not so saints...

And he still died anyway.

Prostitution in RP fourth largest source of GNP

"PROSTITUTION in the Philippines has become a multi-million dollar industry and is now the fourth largest source of gross national product...It [the report] said poor, developing countries like the Philippines have now become major centers for the global sex tourism industry where women and children are exploited...."

I really don't know what to say. I mean, I see this every night and somehow I get desensitized because of it.

PvP always make me laugh. It does. Next to Get Fuzzy, this comic is a regular read for me. All the more today with the World Of Warcraft reference.
I mean, don't you think it's funny?
Oh well, once World of Warcraft Philippines arrives, you'll get the joke. Posted by Hello

Sarcasm is way better than lasagna.

It's been awhile since I really laughed at a Garfield strip.
Who am I kidding?
It's been years!
But somehow this one just made me. So I'd think it's worth a post. But for regular laughs, it's always Get Fuzzy for me. Posted by Hello

The PAL Experience number.... Heck! I lost count already....

"...I do not have to live with Philippine Airlines. I do not have to endure and suffer their inefficiencies and their attitude. I do not even have to live with their so-called lower prices because now, with options like Tiger Air, there are much cheaper airfares with more reliable airline operators who can get you to your destination – alive and on time!..."

A couple of weeks ago, PAL had to contend with the supposed Korina Sanchez situation. Now it's this weelchair episode.

You think the PR department of PAL is bigger and more efficient than their Customer Service Department?

Gmail Increases Storage to 2 Gbs!

"Storage is an important part of email, but that doesn't mean you should have to worry about it. To celebrate our one-year birthday, we're giving everyone one more gigabyte. But why stop the party there? Our plan is to continue growing your storage beyond 2GBs by giving you more space as we are able. We know that email will only become more important in people's lives, and we want Gmail to keep up with our users and their needs. From Gmail, you can expect more...."

Gmail just increased its email storage to 2 Gigabytes! And this ain't no April Fool's Joke.

I can't wait to get in. I mean, wow. World of Wordcraft Philippines. Think of all the fonts. I mean, I can't wait to become Lucida Bright.

And it's by Microsoft even.

And they have interchangeable heads too...

Somehow I imagined the afterlife to be a more peaceful place...

It seems Get Fuzzy, Foxtrot, and Pearls Before Swine have sprung an APril Fools joke.

Funny. Very Funny.

I wonder there are more strips in on this joke...
